Dude. We need to go camping.

That's quite all right. I will likely need all that time to get everything ready and finish painting the hood anyway. And I really should do something about the radiator.

[zourtney]

I think I'll try to leave work around 2ish. Then I can help you pack up and stuff. Then get my junks. Or, perhaps in the opposite order.

Is anyone else coming? Brad? Cody? Dog? Elk?

[Nick]

Cody should go! I think brad said that previously that this weekend would not work for him (Oh no! We will have to go again so he can come) Yup I just asked, he is busy. I don't have any elk I could take... I do have some coffee crystals though. Dark ones. Perhaps you could say I have some dark crystals.

[zourtney]

Will they make me dance, magic dance? Oh, I think that's a different movie. But strangely similar.

Cody said he might go. Need help getting stuff together?

[Nick]

Sure. When? I am doing more construction on the grandma shack tonight. But Thursday and Friday will be blazer prep and packing.

[zourtney]

Cool. I might come over Thursday evening, if you need help with stuff.

So...Where should we camp out? Hidden lake hike camp? Middle o' nowhere then drive 300 off the road? There's no way of knowing what's taken until you're up there. But I like it that way. It's part of the adventure.

Oh, and there is now a calendar event, so this must happen!

Ok! As mandated, so shall it be! I would like to try little lake camp. But if its full, or otherwise occupied by noisy fools then I guess we just continue down the road.

[zourtney]

Man, now that camping is impending, this week is dragging. Camp-camp!

Brad said something to me about going to Nick's to help pack. Brad, want to ride together? Or were you goi g to go from work? Oh, and Cody's truck has insurance for the weekend, so we can take that tomorrow.

[Nick]

Cool cool. That would mean lots more storage space, but also twice the gas. But if we need the space then we need the space. And "Camp Camp"

[zourtney]

Unsurprisingly, Cody still has not said for sure whether or not he is coming. If it'll just be three of us, we should cram into the Blazer. But four people + stuff is (pure*) virtually impossible. I'll see if I can get any sort of definite answer out of Cody tomorrow.

So, Brad and I were talking about what we need to bring. I have giant (hot) dogs, buns, and Nick's mustard (oops). And lots of pop. And one can of chili. And some paper towels. Probably a few other mundane things as well.

Maybe I can stop by Winco. Get some spicy CheezIts and pretzels. I think my mom said she has a few camping chairs we can borrow. Oh maybe I'll get a giant sandwich at Winco, too.

*Bad C++ reference to pure virtual function definitons. As in l, the action has been defined, but not implemented. I'm a dork.

I have lots of chairs. Some hot dog buns. Plenty of oatmeal (though brad has made it clear that he will be eating none of it. Pots pans? Water? I can supply things like that too if needed. And there might be rice crispy treats to take along. I think getting winco sandwiches is a good idea, its practically a camping tradition anymore. 

We can see what we still need tomorrow evening and then make sure we have it before Friday evening.

Sure, we can ride together. I need to go home and pick some stuff up to bring over, and Melissa wanted to come hang out over there while we were packing and stuff. She is also making a batch of cookies for use, because apparently we need some.

What about tents? Nick suggested each of us bringing our own (I think he has a tent he wanted to try out), but the only tent I've got is pretty much big enough for four people. We could always bring both, if we need more space or leg room or whatever. What do you guys think?

A giant sandwich sounds pretty good. If any of you stop by Winco grab me an Italian one and I'll give you the $5 bucks tonight or tomorrow.

We've got what? 2 Dinners, 2 Breakfasts and 2 Lunches? Winco subs could take care of the "Lunch" aspect and we can get some hot dogs and chili for at least one dinner. Nick has nasty oatmeal for breakfast. I can bring some eggs as I have a lot and I can get them free. We could also bring some cereal and milk or something too.

That pretty much covers it except for the other dinner, unless we want hotdogs two nights in a row.

Hot dongs with chili and then without? Is that milk there at work in the refrigerator still any good? Another option is to take a pound of hamburger and make hamburgers or hamburger helper.

[Brad]

I like the hamburger helper idea. Less work then trying to make hamburgers.
