Dude. We need to go camping.

I've been thinking of making some chili lately. Camping is the perfect reason to make some, too.

[zourtney]

I'm definitely starting to get camp-camp-fever. We should go some time...many times! Also, 10-10-2010 falls on a weekend -- fate or coincidence?

[Brad]

We need to go camping sooner than that. Not sure I'll be able (or willing) to go on 10/10/10, as my wife will be ~8 months pregnant by then. Could do a day trip or something... but I'd probably not want to be out of cell phone range for long, knowing me.

So we should go sooner than that. As soon as everybody is available to go.

[Nick]

Most weekends after this weekend (of the 29th of may) should be good for me. And the snow might be melted from that 'hidden' hike-in lake. The one that Courtney found a shiny new flip-flop at. I vote for that as a camping location. Unless its full of fools. Then we can head up the road to where it dead ends, or up onto overheat lookout and camp there. Both are close to coolness and have plenty of room with a likely lack of fools (other then the ones we bring that is.)

That sounds like a good and welcome change. I'm up for it!

Or we could always fortify the hose. And maybe fix it.... But I like the idea of searching out some new areas to explore.

Soooo, when should we go camping?

[Nick]

And weekend time is a good time for me.  Perhaps we should set a tentative date to help make it happen.

Perhaps the 10,11,12 weekend or 18,19,20? I could use my free Friday to haul things up there and get set up.

Kind sir, perhaps we should go camping?

Yes we should!

I think it's supposed to be a pretty nice weekend. What is everyone doing? I heard Nick made chili; I have gigantic hot dogs. We could hide out some place for the day, if anyone's up to it. Woods? Park Park? Some park? Some dude's back yard?

[Nick]

Yeah. I am up for it! If we head to Taylor park we can take hondas and the like. The blazer is kinda under the weather at the moment. But we could still get on up into the mountains if people liked. I vote for park park as its close are easy, though lacks much of a hiking area. Perhaps and hike-hike  the regroup at a park park for fire and food?

Ok! Its might feel warm enough for swimming, but I think we are a month away from the water being warm enough to enjoy. You could still freeze your feet if you were so inclined.
So you will bring the sausage? And I will bring some buns, chili and pop.

Yes, some mega hot dogs. Now let's do it again!

Let's make a "camping list lite" so we can prepare for hike n' camp adventures, such as our "hidden" lake! Gigantic cooler might not be on the list
