Title: Blacksmithing
Post by: Nick on Jun 05, 2015, 11:15 AM
We should all get together and build a communal forge. I have no idea what I would makes (knives probably) and I really don't need any more projects or hobbies but... why not.

Like this one!

Awesome! With Cody's spare parts, I bet we could have something up and running in a weekend.

And this reminds me: I should learn to weld. I don't have to be good or anything. But a little working knowledge would be nice.

I know where there are some OLD and empty propane canisters (big ones too) Been sitting at my moms forever, I have been slowly emptying them with the BBQ and making beer (boiling lots of water.)

This is pretty much exactly what I have. Same ceramic blanket. Same weird pasty stuff you put on the inside. Same style propane tank!...although his might be a bit bigger. If you would like to borrow it you are more than welcome to. Or if you just want to come over here and play with it that would be fun as well! It needs some repair, but it is still functional.
