Like it says, we should go offroading somewhere. I gots a new truck and it needs to prove its prowess.

Yes!

I'm not sure when I'll be able to visit again. Hopefully sometime winterish. How do you think it'll handle snow?

Better then the blazer did, I am sure. I imagine it will do as well as the Suburban did. It only has so-so tires on it, no knobs to speak of but plenty of tread remaining.  Would probably do better in the snow with some knobbies up front and maybe in the back. I should be able to get extra wheels (Perhaps with tires on them) fairly easy and swap them as the weather demands.
It has These: bfgoodrich long trail t/a (https://www.google.com/search?q=bfgoodrich+long+trail+t/a&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ei=F9xSUsT2NKrwiwLaz4G4CA&ved=0CAkQ_AUoAQ&biw=1616&bih=918&dpr=1)

Edit! I could get these: http://salem.craigslist.org/pts/4112112888.html
They might be a bit better in mud and snow.
Edit 2! These are even better: http://salem.craigslist.org/pts/4053526112.html

Were we in the Blazer or the 'Burbon when we followed those jeeps up to Elk Lake? And people drank backwoods energy-slushies :)

:D pretty sure that was the lil' Blazer, but you know how well my memory works! We were certainly the odd man out in that parade.
