A rather fishy ending to one of the most well-respected open-source cryptography programs available. Theories range from their account getting compromised to an NSA crack down. Currently there is no word on what really happened, other then a page telling people to use Microsofts "Bitlocker" (not considered very secure).
This is a scary event. I use truecrypt. Thousands of businesses use it. I would not be surprised that many government agencies use it. No word on the security of using old versions of TC. I will keep using it until more information is available. But I thought you should all be aware.
This would be a good time to get SSL keys/certs generated and working for randomland. Then we can encrypt all site traffic.

Last post by Brad - May 17, 2014, 12:05 AMMy Node.js server is up and running on my Pi. The server includes a button which when pressed causes the Pi to take a photo using the Pi Camera.
Still having some issues with serving that image back to the client. The communication is working fine, I just haven't been able to deliver a valid URL pointing to the image.
I think this will require me to use the Express framework to do well and without a ton of work. I was considering using that anyway. Just one more Javascript framework to learn.
