I made a character! I was at work, so I didn't try it yet. I remembered you said you had a server, so I figured get the IP. But maybe it's best to freeplay a little before you all slaughter me

I did, but I don't remember how you get lights and stuff. Still, I like it and the general idea is fun. Though it'd be probably be better with a mouse

Torches are your main source of light. You can make them with 1 wood and 1 gel. Gel drops from the slimes hopping around the surface.

You can also talk to the guide, provided he is alive, and he will tell you everything you can make with any material.

Terraria 1.3 has been announced! As well as a Terraria:Otherword spin-off and Terraria 2 is supposed to be in development!
